Believe it or not,

I look forward to the days when the sun feels warm and toasty again, and the chill in the air is gone. Then instead of lugging around a big coat, I can just go out and sit in the sun to warm up.

So today when I was shivering after eating some delicious frozen yogurt, I found some good company, sat out in the sun, and watched Ellie play in the water.

We will definitely being doing this again soon.

Hooray for Danny finally being 27!

I'm pretty sure I've got commitment issues.

I was excited at the prospect of a weekend trip, but then when I started to think about it too much, I started to get cold feet. When you're scared to make reservations less than a week in advance, for a trip to the slopes, even after finding family members generous enough to watch the kiddos, you know it's bad. How Danny ever got me is hard to say- just lucky I guess, right honey:)

Well I made the call, and surprisingly, there was a room left at the lodge.

I think it's meant to be. Now I'm getting excited.

Hurray for the best snowboard buddy on the mountain.

And don't worry kids, I've got the best mommas in town filling in for me while I'm away. Hopefully you'll want to come home to me.

It won't be long now.

We've got lift off.
I know it's not the best to want the next stage to come along too quickly,
but it's just that he's got a sister who's waiting for a playmate.

So bring on the crawling.

Well, that is what's been on my mind lately.

There's just something about monday.

I have noticed for awhile now that I just really like Mondays.

It's a fresh start to my at home work week.
I have a bit more patience stored up.
There's usually cleaning involved, which means a fresh house.

And I love it.

Today has been no exception.
But to add to it, I got to eat this today




Thanks to Steph I was spoiled enough to be one of the premiere taste testers.
(I knew I've been eating frozen yogurt all of these years for something.)

It's delicious.
And I do consider myself an expert.

Lack of sleep has caught up with me again.

I know I'm a bit sleep deprived when I'm tired and grouchy despite the fact that

my husband folded the heaps of laundry piled high on the bed after getting home from work yesterday

I am showered and dressed before noon

my long time space heater that I love and cling to while I eat yummy frozen treats died, but was replaced that very same day by that hubby of mine

my homemade lasagna is ready and waiting for me to pop in the oven for dinner tonight

and

I have like the cutest kids I know

I do hope to have my wits about me again someday.
But for now, if I could just get a nap.
