After making this for dinner last week,

Homemade whole wheat veggie pizza
(with mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers & spinach)

Ellie requested spinach added to her bread pizza (a frequent and simple lunch).

sliced bread, sauce, mozzarella warmed in the microwave

Enough to make a mom proud.

As I drove home from errands with a tired, on-the-edge little one in the back seat, wishing there was some sort of magic fairy waiting in Ellie's room to put her down for her nap,
I remembered I would be coming home to a freshly cleaned and vacuumed house.

(You can just make out the vacuum lines.)

Ahhh.
Yes, I am the one who cleaned it, but I had just forgotten until that moment.
It made my afternoon.
Nothing beats the look and smell of a clean house.
No, not even a magic fairy.

It's always fun to discover Ellie's new talents.

Me: Do you need me to change them?
Ellie: Yeah

I then walk into Ellie's room and find her like this.


Yes, all ready to go.

The problem. In the time it has taken me to type this I have found her up there three times. I have yet to see how Miss Knievel manages to get herself up there, but I have a feeling I will get the chance sometime soon.

She must not realize it would be much easier to climb up on the toilet, but my girl is always up for a challenge.

Nope didn't shop lift it either.
If you spend more than $5 you get your choice of a free item.
I usually go for something whole-wheaty.
Yes, much to the disappointment of my husband.

But not today. Today, danny is on lucky guy.
I sure hope you like coffee cake, hubby.
